IEEE CARS 2025 marks the 5th edition of the Cyber Awareness and Research Symposium, hosted annually by the University of North Dakota. • Previous Attendance:
  Our past events have seen steady growth, with attendance ranging from 150 to over 300 participants each year. In 2024, we welcomed attendees from multiple universities, federal agencies, and industry partners, establishing CARS as a respected regional cybersecurity forum.

• Capture The Flag (CTF):
  CARS 2025 will feature the 2nd edition of our CTF competition, which debuted in 2024 to great success. The CTF drew dozens of student teams from regional universities and colleges, engaging in real-world, hands-on cybersecurity challenges. The competition received strong praise for its technical depth and recruitment potential.
