Phillip Island prepares to host another spectacular round of the 2025 ASBK Championship, featuring world-class motorcycle racing across multiple competitive categories. The premier SW-MOTECH Superbike class will deliver Australia's most intense production-based racing action, while the Kawasaki Supersport and Race & Road Supersport 300 categories continue to showcase the country's brightest emerging talents.
The future of Australian road racing will be on full display with the Oceania Junior Cup development class, where young riders aged 11 to under 16 hone their skills on one of the world's greatest circuits. This round marks an especially exciting debut as Phillip Island welcomes the Yamaha R3 BLU CRU Asia-Pacific Championship - the first time this international championship has raced on Victorian soil. The series brings the Asia-Pacific's most promising young road racers to compete against our local juniors, offering a unique opportunity to race alongside potential future international teammates and rivals.
With fierce competition across all classes and the added excitement of international talent joining the grid, ASBK Round 6 at Phillip Island promises another unforgettable chapter in Australia's premier road racing championship. The event continues to serve as both a showcase of current racing excellence and a crucial development platform for the champions of tomorrow.
Motorcycling Australia is seeking $20,000 AUD in funding from RSL Phillip Island’s Community Grants Program to assist with the marketing and operations of the event.
Sponsoring ASBK Round 6 at Phillip Island offers brands a powerful platform to connect with Australia’s motorsport community while gaining extensive media exposure. The event delivers world-class racing across premier categories like the SW-MOTECH Superbike class, the fiercely competitive Kawasaki Supersport series, and the emerging talents of the Race and Road Supersport 300 and BLU CRU Oceania Junior Cup.
In additon to the national championship classes, the Yamaha R3 BLU CRU Asia-Pacific Championship will be competing at the event, adding international appeal, bringing Asia-Pacific’s brightest young riders to Australian soil.
Sponsors will benefit from national live television coverage on SBS Sport and Stan Sport, plus international reach via Sky Sport NZ, Eurosport, and other global broadcasters, ensuring maximum visibility. Additionally, brands gain access to ASBK’s highly engaged social media audience, allowing targeted digital campaigns that amplify their presence.
By aligning with Australia’s premier road racing championship, sponsors tap into a passionate fanbase, elite competition, and a proven platform that bridges grassroots development and professional racing, making it an ideal opportunity for high-impact brand engagement.
